Real Leadership. Democratic Values. Local Solutions.

Negotiator. Educator. Neighbor.

For over two decades, David Wilson has dedicated his career to one goal: creating pathways to success for his community. Now, he is ready to bring that same commitment to the South Carolina House of Representatives to serve the families and businesses of District 105.

A Proven Record of Economic Leadership

David’s background is a unique blend of high-level business strategy and local "on-the-ground" experience. With an MBA and advanced doctoral studies in Adult and Community College Leadership, David understands the vital link between education, workforce development, and a thriving economy.

  • Small Business Owner & Realtor: For six years as a small business owner and four years as a professional Realtor in the Grand Strand, David has navigated the complexities of our local economy. He knows firsthand the challenges of cutting through red tape and the importance of protecting property rights and local investment.

  • Workforce Architect: At Cape Fear Community College, David directed Career Development and managed student recruitment for the 5th largest college in the state. Service Beyond the Office

David believes that leadership isn't just about what happens in a boardroom; it’s about what happens in our neighborhoods. His commitment to South Carolina is reflected in his years of service:

  • Community Advocate: Served on the Board of Directors for Communities in Schools and the Cape Fear Volunteer Center, and as a mentor for the Big Buddy Program for at-risk youth.

  • Result-Oriented Fundraiser: Increased non-profit revenue by 47% in a single year, ensuring vital local programs had the resources to serve those in need.
